I came across a blog hop that the Spectrum Noir Blog is having showcasing their design team and their markers. I haven't delved into alcohol markers too much, mostly because of cost, and also because its slightly intimidating, but the Spectrum Noir teammates have made me think that maybe I can do it too. Since the markers are much more inexpensive than Copics they are much more economical and I can build up my collection much more quickly.
They are also having a contest - if you go through the blog hop then comment on the main post back on the Spectrum Noir page you get entered into a contest to win a full set of 72 markers! I am certainly doing that, but in addition if you post their blinkie on your page then you get put into another draw for a gift certificate! Since I am pretty much sold on their product I thought, what the heck!? :) So here it is:
