Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge #36 Music

Its time for another Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge, and the theme is a fun one - Music!  Here is what I came up with:

I started with the patterned paper - as soon as I knew the theme I thought I would use this paper from Tim Holtz's Seasonal Stack.  I cut a strip from the 6x6 piece, and distressed the edges with a distressing tool. I rolled the ends like a scroll both because I like the way it looks, and to make it the right size for my card.

At this point I chose the coordinating sheets of cardstock and sprayed the navy and white pieces with some shimmer mists.  Once dry I die cut the snow flakes and inked them through the die.  I embossed the kraft piece and inked the pattern to make it stand out.  Once I adhered the pieces of the main panel I added the ribbon, and adhered the main panel to the card base.  At this point I added the embellishments and sentiment.

I decorated the inside with another piece of white sprayed with shimmer mist, and some distressed pieces of the pattern and a smaller snowflake.  I also stamped the matching sentiment to the sentiment on the front.

Now its you're turn!  This week's sponsor is Heather Ellis from Digi Stamp Characters, and you could win 3 digital images!

The images in her shop are so cute!  You should take a look at what she has to offer! :)

Whether you link here or at Pause Dream Enjoy Challenges your project will be entered into the same draw.  Also don't forget to have a look at what the rest of the DT has to offer, they are a talented bunch!
